The Wanderwave's presence on the Koning Aap Clubday in Arnhem was a success! After all the hard work getting the Wanderbelt ready and available, it was very rewarding to get a lot of positive and exciting reactions from fellow travelling women. And even better, we sold quite a few Wanderbelts on the spot! All these Wanderbelts heading towards new travel adventures... I admit, it does make me feel a little proud!
It was quite an adventure going to the lovely Burger Zoo of Arnhem where the event took place. This time, the Wanderwave team included my boyfriend, our 2 months old baby girl, my friend Peggie and me. We had to take an extra car to take everything with us. One car full of baby stuff, and the second one filled with everything for our Wanderwave stand: flyers, posters, Belgian chocolate filled giveaways, and of course a bunch of brand new Wanderbelts in both versions to sell! And yes, we also took along the infamous palm tree decorated panel (see our earlier blog post about the travel market in Bruges) which we again turned into a changing room for trying out the Wanderbelt. Yet this time, every couple of hours, it also doubled up as a nursing room ;-)
Luckily our little one seems to have inherited our travel genes and is very easy going about being on the move. After all her daddy and me met at the other side of the world while travelling, so that shouldn't be a surprise...
Next week on the 5th of December, we will be on the Koning Aap Clubday in Antwerp! The event will take place at the Elzenveld Hotel in the heart of the city. On the Wanderwave stand, you will have the opportunity to try the Wanderbelt on and buy it. With Christmas around the corner, don't forget the Wanderbelt makes a very original Christmas present too!
