I wish for all of you to live your dreams: set out new goals and dare to just go for it. Maybe you can start the new year making a list of places you would like to visit one day. You might realise that the best way to get to do it all is by taking a nice long break from work ;-)... that's how my solo travel trip around the world plan started a few Januaries ago.
At first, I was worried about a zillion things on how to make it happen, but funny enough, once you know or decide what you want, things apparently work out much better than you could ever imagine. So follow your heart, there really is no reason not to.
To all of you out there experiencing some varying degree of wanderlust, please remember:
Life is short, travel often!
We like to walk our talk when it comes to setting out on new journeys. The words of encouragement and advice we give to you, also apply to our own latest adventure, being the start up of Wanderwave.
One adventure usually leads to another, and that's definitely the case with Wanderwave. If we would not have been travelling long term ourselves, we would not have invented the Wanderbelt. If we would not have experienced while travelling that everything usually works out pretty ok, we might not have the faith to launch Wanderwave. So every time we encourage you to chase your dreams, we also remind ourselves to go for it.
I like to believe that things happen for a reason. That you meet the right people at the exactly the right time. That what feels right is showing you your way. I have experienced this so intensively during my travels, and I want to live according to this experience as much as possible throughout the rest of this big journey life is.
For us 2015 will be the Wanderwave year! We will dedicate ourselves to becoming a platform for travelling women. And within the next couple of months we will launch the Wanderbelt: a money belt especially designed for travelling women. We are now fine-tuning the next prototype, finalising the design details and preparing production. It's no doubt going to be an exciting year and we're looking very much forward to it. Thank you for being with us on this great journey, for all your support and for being such an inspiration for us.
